Making a Paws-itive Impact - Scotch Oakburn College

This Page/SOC_BWDay Photo 2 June 2015.jpgOn 10 June, 2015, Scotch Oakburn College students adorned themselves with black and white to support the Save The Tasmanian Devil Appeal.

The College’s Year 12 Student Executive hosted a variety of events across the Junior, Middle, and Senior School Campuses. These included a devilishly delicious bake stall, a Tasmanian Devil scavenger hunt, a guess-the-lollies-in-the-jar competition, devil face-painting, a TAZ Devil raffle and more. This College-wide effort resulted in a total donation of $1,747.

The Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal was selected as a fundraising focus, to both educate students about the plight of this unique species and to assist in ensuring their survival.

The Scotch Oakburn College Student Executive would like to thank Rebecca Cuthill, Manger, Save the Tasmanian devil Appeal for her inspiring and highly informative presentation, as well as for her support and guidance in this endeavour.
